Our partner school in Cadiz has moved to a recently renovated 3-floor building with a bit of history to it as the house formerly belonged to Federico Jolly, the founder of Cádiz' daily newspaper "Diario de Cádiz". This building has a common room, a kitchen, a beautiful Andalusian terrace and patio, and a fully equipped computer room (with brand new computers, earphones, microphones and webcams!), and of course, the classrooms where all the Spanish learning is done!
The teaching method and the selection of teachers are very similar to those of don Quijote. This is we have chosen Cadiz to be a partner school.
We have the opinion that extra curricular activities are essentials for students' integration into the city; they are ideal to make Spanish learning more fun and to get to know other students. The whole staff usually takes part in the activities to create an even more familiar atmosphere.A variety of different activities are organised weekly with some of them being completely free, for example: a guided city tour, cultural and literary workshops, regular movie showings and visits to museums. We also organise BBQ's, dinners, fiestas, tapa routes, visits to wine cellars, ceramics, surf lessons, flamenco and excursions to Ronda, Seville, Granada, and other interesting places.
