The don Quijote Spanish language school is the perfect place to study Spanish in Salamanca, since it is situated in the heart of the old city center. The school is a restored 16th-century monastery. The modern materials utilized for the recent renovation create a natural balance with the class, richness and style of previous centuries. The building is 100 meters far from the eminent University of Salamanca and just two minutes away from the splendid Plaza Mayor.
The Salamanca Spanish language school was selected 20 years ago to be residence for the first don Quijote school. Since the beginning, the proposal had been clear: to create the principal Spanish as a Foreign Language teaching organization under the slogan "! Vive el espanol!" "(Live Spanish!). These twenty years of involvement, hard work and commitment have led us to twenty years of accomplishments. Nowadays, the school remains as youthful and full of illusion today as it did on its first day. The school is a great place to study Castilian Spanish in Salamanca.
You can enter the school through a fine patio. This patio and the garden divide the school into three parts: the classrooms, the offices and the cafeteria. The central building has three floors, 17 classrooms, a recreation room (with video, sound system, computers, etc.), a library, a staff/lounge and three offices.
