Their main focus is the development listening and speaking skills through communicative activities. However grammar is not neglected and each day will include a lesson focusing on an area of grammatical relevance. Other aspects to be covered are vocabulary development, as well as some reading and writing. More advanced classes will focus on idiomatic usage, appropriate and register. The lessons are tailored to meet the interests and needs of the class.
Every day, one of the lessons will concentrate on grammar, vocabulary development and appropriate practice activities. The rest will provide an opportunity to put new language to communicative use and to provide an integrated approach towards developing listening, speaking, reading, writing and pronunciation skills.
During every course students learn about various aspects of life in Spain and gain an insight into the culture and history of the country.
After these lessons, students have access to the multimedia facilities and library for self-study.
The average class size is 6 to 10 students and each lesson is 55 minutes. Because our class sizes are limited, teachers can respond to students' individual needs so, whether you a total beginner, wish to improve your skills or gain a qualification, no matter what your age or ability there is a course to suit you.
Classes are held for all levels from Beginners to Advanced. Before beginning a course of study all students complete an assessment test and are interviewed to enable placement at the appropriate level.
Classes are designed to develop, refine and result in a high level of fluency and confidence in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
